Cindy Pope
Cindy Pope is an award-winning, Southern author who has been writing since the 1990’s. She has written profiles in lifestyle magazines such as Enjoy Cherokee and Birmingham, as well as industry magazines including The Independent Restauranteur and Business Alabama Monthly. Her short stories have won awards, and her blogs can be seen on Pink Fuzzy Slippers.com and The-Write-One.com. When not busy studying and interviewing local movers and shakers for Enjoy Cherokee magazine, Cindy stays busy researching and writing works of fiction and creative non-fiction.
Currently a graduate student in the Master of Arts Professional Writing program at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, Cindy’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she earned an Honors Certificate, as well as an Associate of Arts Degree from Wallace State Community College.
Cindy lives with three dogs in Woodstock, Georgia, where you might see her cruising through Cherokee County in her red Mustang with the windows down and jamming to classic rock’n’roll.
