Dynamic Leadership: How Do Leaders Evolve, Manage, and Lead Through Change?

It was very thought provoking. I definately see the connection, especially when you are talking of running a business you would like to keep in the family.
I think that limiting this to the concept of a “mom and pop” or even small business organization limits organizational effectiveness. Just imagine if everyone in every position in a particular organization felt complete and whole, like they had a sense of purpose in their position…do you think that this organization might perform better than an organization who’s employees were reduced to a series of cogs? I think that as business owners, we must focus on finding those things that we are passionate about, then find or develop those around us who might have passions that are complementary to our own. Of course, that takes time and work…but so do many other things in life that we appreciate the most.
